Human Resource Practices Audit
The Human Resource Practices Audit© is a management tool designed to assist organizations in identifying needs within their human resource function. Its purpose is to "fact find", not "fault find" in assessing strengths and areas of improvement.
The audit is divided into six major functions:
» Staffing
» Employment
» Training and Development
» Employee Relations
» Compensation
» Benefits
The audit asks over 300 questions in these areas to determine the status of each and identify potential areas of development and/or enhancement. The results are summarized as follows:
First set of recommendations - correct glaring illegalities and develop/enhance areas of concern.
Second set of recommendations – the design and implementation of policies and procedures that are in your best interests.
Third set of recommendations - suggestions which, in the long run, will create healthier employee relations.
HR Hotline
In every organization, human resource issues arise on a continual basis and almost always require a quick answer. With today's regulatory environment, supervisors and managers are often unprepared to handle these issues. Decisions are made with the best intentions; however, incorrect decisions may cost you penalties, fines and loss of morale.
HR Hotline gives you quick access to expert advice. Regardless of the issue, we will be able to provide fast and accurate information to meet your need. We will return your telephone call within 24 hours (usually the same day), research your question if necessary and return your call with an answer. With the correct information in hand, you will be able to more accurately and confidently respond to the issue.
These services include, but are not limited to:
» Human resource policies » COBRA issues
» Unemployment » Fair Labor Standards Act
» Discrimination » Family & Medical Leave Act
» Sexual harassment » Americans with Disabilities Act
» Wage & Hour regulations » Job performance
» Employee relations issues » Corrective discipline and termination
