Fred Klein is a management and organization effectiveness consultant who helps businesses improve profitability by effectively involving and aligning the efforts of all employees with the company’s strategic interests.

Mr. Klein has substantial functional and managerial experience in training and organization development, Total Quality Management (TQM), distribution operations, systems, and corporate communication.  He is a “hands-on” training and organization development professional who delivers relevant programs and business solutions that effectively integrate continuous improvement processes and culture change initiatives throughout the organization.

His prior experience includes:

  • Managing systems and operations groups
  • Creating a corporate training and development function
  • Providing training and organization development support for sales, customer service, administration, operations and management personnel
  • Supporting large scale reengineering initiatives
  • Writing and producing technical documentation and employee communication materials
  • Designing programs, presentations and systems

 

Mr. Klein’s accomplishments include the implementation of programs geared toward increasing organizational effectiveness through employee involvement using a team-based approach.  He is skilled at targeting opportunities for creating and strengthening individual and departmental interdependence as well as shared corporate values.  His culture change and educational programs have resulted in achieving substantial improvements in productivity, cost effectiveness, quality and customer satisfaction.

As both project leader and team facilitator, Mr. Klein has contributed to numerous reengineering initiatives.  His accomplishments include:

  • The successful redesign of a company wide performance appraisal process for management and staff which emphasized core competency skills
  • The reengineering of Receiving department work processes which increased productivity 35% and eliminated misplaced merchandise
  • The modification and implementation of an inventory tracking system that increased department productivity over 50% and reduced data input errors more than 25%
  • The conversion of manual tracking systems to fully automated reporting systems

 

Mr. Klein has a Bachelor’s degree from Alfred University and is an instructor of Continuing Education programs in Management at CW Post College – Long Island University and Wagner College on Staten Island.
